Lebanese  haute couture designer Elie Saab’s first fragrance arrives in India. ‘Le Parfum’ was finalised after 279 trial versions and has been crafted by contemporary French Armenian perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Kurkdjian has worked on an eclectic list of scents that include Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male and Narciso Rodriguez for Him and Her. Ultra Feminine, strong, floral and woody, Le Parfum’s opening notes include  of orange blossom,  Jasmine, cedar, patchouli and rose honey accord. The elegant Baroque style bottle has been designed by Sylvie de France whose edgy bottle design portfolio includes the famous male torso bottle for Le Male and the classy Eau de Issey for Issey Miyake. D Squared2 Potion – The new scent of seduction?

First it was the best selling fragrance He Wood in 2007 and Canadian designer duo – Dean and Dan Caten (D Squared2) followed that up with Potion in end-2011. Crafted by perfumer Annick Mernado, Potion’s interesting recipe includes freshly picked red mint leaves, thyme, rose petals,  black peppercorns, gentian, cinnamon sticks, Cashmere wood, pathcouli, amber and musk.
